Hello and welcome!
My name is Tamsin Nolan and I'm a professional freelance Makeup Artist based in Hobart (Dodges Ferry to be precise), Tasmania where I've lived since 2012 with my husband Andrew and 9 year old son Fergus.
My favourite thing about my career as a makeup artist is that I get to combine creativity with a good conversation! No day is ever the same and I get to see people smile and feel great.
Since I first started makeup artistry back in 1997 (eek)- I've worked on many short films and independent films -Over 40 of them.. over the years I've worked with all variety of people from international and national celebrities, including Nigella Lawson, Sir Viv Richards and Curtis Stone; various actors and sports professionals and sports commentators through to many different women for their wedding day or for other events.
I am particularly busy with wedding work. I've become the 'go to' makeup artist for a natural and subtle approach to makeup. If you would like to look like yourself -just an enhanced version so to speak then I'm the artist for you. Sometimes I refer to it as natural glam.. is that an oxymoron.. oh well, it's what I do best :)
When I'm not working as a makeup artist I enjoy making my own music, going on a bush walk or road trip and reading the next life changing novel and spending time with my family.
